Join Kieransar as he embarks on a physical and spiritual journey that invites the reader to explore his/her life's journey as well. Written as Christian science fiction, Through Spiral Eyes follows Prince Kieransar as he questions the way things are in the Hasshevaran Empire, and his father reluctantly decides to send him to Tahlmin for further training. Smit does a superb job of developing her cat-like characters. Her development of Hasshevaran measurements and language are intriguing as related to our language.

This is an appropriate addition for middle and high school libraries.
